Testing – It’s the Key to Marketing Success

I’ve heard it many times – that testing is very important in marketing. I found a great example recently with my own newsletter. By changing the format of the latest edition I have seen a dramatic increase in the number of click throughs. Measurement is the key – if you can’t measure where you are then any efforts are wasted – you can’t tell what changes work and what don’t. It’s easy, sometimes, to forget this if you don’t have a marketing background – it’s been one of the most important lessons for me since setting up the business.
