Christmas cards

Recycle your Christmas cards

After Christmas you can support the Woodland Trust's efforts to help the environment by recycling any cards you receive. You can recycle your cards by taking them to any mainland WH Smith, Tesco, TK Maxx and Marks & Spencer stores. See Woodland Trust.org.uk for more details.

Charity giving

There are more and more opportunities to give to charities instead of buying chocolates or wine. The range of gifts varies - you can buy a goat for £25, via Oxfam, to help fight poverty. The next time you launch a new product or finish a project, here's a really good way to improve next time. Don't spend any time talking about what went wrong. List all the things that went right. Then spend some time thinking about what you can do to make these good things even better. Then go out and celebrate.
