Lilach Bullock launched her own Virtual Assistant business, asklilach Ltd, in October 2006. She continued to work part time as she got the business up and running. Lilach secured her first client within two weeks of going ‘live' and since then the business has gone from strength to strength. Lilach now runs the business full time - she has 26 clients and has taken on staff to support the growing demand for the company's services. In April 2007, just six months after the business went ‘live', Lilach was a finalist in the National Virtual Assistant of the Year Awards. In June 2008 Lilach was a finalist for Best Mumpreneur of the Year for the Mother at Work Awards and attended the Award Ceremony at Downing Street.
Lilach found that while you need one set of skills to be a great PA there are many others required to set up and run a successful business. As asklilach became more and more successful Lilach received an increasing number of enquiries from people keen to use their PA and secretarial skills to set up their business and work as a Virtual Assistant. She became frustrated by the lack of quality information and training courses available to help them make the right decisions for their business - she saw the need for training which focused on practical and realistic support relevant to today's competitive and changing business environment. Recognising the opportunity, Lilach decided to share her own experiences, skills and resources to help others keen to make a success of setting up and running their own Virtual Assistant business.
